Rare Beauty — Marketing Strategy Plan
A strategic marketing plan analyzing Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez through the lens of authenticity, inclusivity, and emotional connection. This project applies core marketing frameworks to evaluate brand positioning and consumer behavior while proposing new strategies to expand Rare Beauty’s global reach and strengthen its social impact through the Rare Impact Fund.
Retailtainment — Trend Report
A trend report exploring how brands use immersive design and storytelling to transform shopping into an experience. The project analyzes the rise of experiential retail, referencing examples from Nike, Glossier, and Gentle Monster to illustrate how engagement-driven spaces are reshaping consumer culture.
Applied Retail Buying
For my Fashion Merchandising, Planning, and Control final, I applied advanced retail math and strategic problem-solving to real-world buying scenarios. Each question mirrored challenges faced by retail buyers—analyzing sales trends, calculating markups, managing inventory, and optimizing profit margins. This project strengthened my analytical and decision-making skills, preparing me to approach merchandising and buying with a data-driven, results-oriented mindset.
Free People — Mock Ad Campaign
As creative director, I developed a conceptual ad campaign celebrating Free People’s effortless, bohemian spirit. This project combines art direction, styling, and color grading to evoke freedom, femininity, and self-expression. Free People Summer reimagines the brand’s identity for a new generation—where natural light, texture, and movement tell a story of carefree sophistication and lived-in luxury.
Levi’s — Fashion Film
A collaborative fashion film exploring denim as an extension of the body—an intersection of movement, identity, and material. As part of the creative team, I contributed to the concept development, choreography, and visual direction to express Levi’s timeless connection between fabric and self. The project blends dance, texture, and cinematography to portray denim as both armor and expression.
The White Project
Rooted in the Buddhist concept of anicca, this project explores the beauty of transience and transformation. Created in under a week for my Intro to Fashion class, the wearable sculpture—crafted from clay and wire—embodies the tension between fragility and resilience. Inspired by nature’s cycles of decay and renewal, the piece reflects the idea that nothing is fixed, and through impermanence, we find liberation.
